I am thrilled to co-teach a day retreat all about joyous movement, time for yourself and topped off with a delicious lunch 🙂

Together with Jeanne Le Bailly from CalisthenFit, I will introduce you to the gentle power of Somatic Education. Jeanne will challenge you with her signature body weight training of Animal Flow. We will have a delicious, organic locally sourced lunch prepared by retreat owner Marlene, followed by some time to stroll the fabulous woods to refresh your mind getting ready for the second half of the day.

Together with Jeanne Le Bailly from CalisthenFit, I will introduce you to the gentle power of Somatic Education. Jeanne will challenge you with her signature body weight training of Animal Flow.

This One Day workshop at the beautiful eco-friendly Sli na Bande retreat in Wicklow will help you to:

  •  Reset and open up your body, ease any tension and pain you may have
  •  Reconnect and have greater body awareness
  •  Learn how to de-stress, breathe better, relax more for a restful night sleep
  •  Teach you simple movements you can easily use at home to alleviate pains or aches and strengthen your body

You will start the day with gentle Somatic Movements to help you easing tension and smooth out movement in the lower back,chest and hip joints.

Followed with a Animal Flow Movement session which uses more extensive, invigorating, rotational movement patterns and improve neurological communication.

Somatic Movement Education is a gentle, mindful movement practice aiming to increase your breathing capacity, range of motion and refine your motor control by directly influencing your nervous system functions.

Animal Flow Movement is a dynamic and fun / playful movement that reconnects all your limb and mind together helping you to strengthen the whole body. It improves your stability for every day tasks, but also for athletes/gym goer who are looking to increase stamina, strength and fitness level.

Every session will focus on increasing your mobility as well as aiming to calm the nervous system, making you leave feeling restored and relaxed.
